FTI professionals are very experienced in structured, process-driven IT engineering and operations environments, and they bring this experience to each of our customers. On many programs, FTI staff have facilitated and then supported the use of ITIL for the definition and management of information technology services to major federal clients. We currently support one ISO 20000 registered program based on implementation of ITIL for the National Weather Service. FTI pursues ITIL-certified and -compliant practices with our clients to achieve improved, sustained operations for large systems, network commands, and lifecycle development support efforts.
FTI’s own Software Development Methodology (SDM) takes ITIL practices as one of the sources for life cycle development tasks and operations/maintenance definitions. Our program management office provides support to projects wishing to utilize ITIL as a paradigm for structured program improvements and measurably increased performance.
